Following Jesus can easily become one more thing you mean to make time for.

You want to read Scripture deeply and recognize God’s voice, to let your faith shape your actual days, and to have Christian friendships that go deeper than surface-level conversation.

But life gets loud, spiritual habits become inconsistent, and even good Christian content can leave you consuming more than you are actually practicing.

Dear Disciple Club gives you a daily practice worth committing to and a community that holds you to it. Inside, we’re learning together to open Scripture, pray honestly, listen to the Holy Spirit, understand what we’re reading, obey Jesus in ordinary life, notice what God is doing, and faithfully steward what He has entrusted to us.

Not to become impressive Christians. To become faithful disciples.

Everything you get, one patch at a time.

Here is what your membership holds. As you practice, you’ll earn pins and patches for your club jacket, and it fills in as you keep showing up. When you miss a day, you come back the next morning and keep going, because a year of faithfulness is built one return at a time.

Disciple Daily Formation

A daily rhythm with seven movements

Each day brings a full, Scripture-rooted study as we read through your chosen Disciple in a Year track together, moving from Open and Talk through Listen, Learn, Obey, Notice, and Steward. A printable 4–6 page Daily Formation PDF lets you take your study time analog, and on the hardest days a shorter path keeps you in the Word.

Two ways through the year

Choose your path through Disciple in a Year.

One membership includes both tracks. Each has its own Disciple Daily Formation studies and printable PDFs, shaped by the same seven movements. Neither is the more spiritual choice; choose the pace and focus that fit your season, and switch whenever you need to, because your progress in each track is kept.

Disciple in a Year

Whole Bible

The whole story of Scripture in 365 days, read chronologically, so you see God’s redemptive story unfold from beginning to end.

  • The Old Testament once and the New Testament twice
  • Larger daily readings that follow the full biblical narrative
  • A broad, comprehensive journey through God’s Word

Disciple in a Year

New Testament

A slower, contemplative year through the entire New Testament, so you can linger with Jesus, his kingdom, and the early church. Begins January 1, 2027.

  • The four Gospels woven into one account of Jesus’ life, event by event
  • About 15 to 33 verses of the Gospels a day, then Acts, the letters, and Revelation
  • Practices like Lectio Divina, Scripture scribing, and the Examen

The challenge

Disciple in a Year asks for your whole heart.

This isn’t a devotional you skim on the way to something else. Over 365 days you’ll read the whole Bible chronologically or walk slowly through the entire New Testament, opening Scripture every day and moving through all seven movements, praying honestly, listening for the Holy Spirit, studying what the text actually says, and then doing the harder work of obeying Jesus in your ordinary life.

It will cost you something: the minutes you’d have given to your phone, the comfort of staying the same, the habits you’d rather not look at. Discipleship has always meant following Jesus with your whole life, and a year is long enough for that following to start reshaping you.

What you’re saying yes to

  • A full year in Scripture, through the whole Bible or the New Testament, with a full study every day
  • Honest prayer, and a journal that keeps track of what God is saying
  • Obedience, not just understanding, as you put each day’s Word into practice
  • Showing up for a community walking the same road

On the hardest days there’s a shorter path that keeps you in the Word, so a hard day bends your year without breaking it.

Read and gather

Learn from those a little further ahead.

The monthly book club

Each month of 2027 we’ll read one book together, a mix of classics, modern voices, and spiritual formation, learning from people who have walked the path of following Jesus before us or are a bit further down it.

  • One book a month, January through December
  • A reading guide for each book inside the club
  • A discussion thread to talk it through together

Joining in is optional, and books are not included. Each month links to where you can get a copy.

Start a club

Faith grows best face to face. Gather a few friends, neighbors, or people from your church to meet weekly, every other week, or monthly around the book club, the Bible reading, or both.

  • Meet in person, at a pace that fits your season
  • Talk through what you’re reading and pray for one another
  • Invite someone who has never been part of anything like this

A Start a Club guide will be waiting for you inside the club.

Today’s study

Imagine becoming someone who…

  • opens Scripture without wondering where to begin,
  • knows how to slow down and be with Jesus,
  • recognizes and tests the Holy Spirit’s leading,
  • turns what they learn into actual obedience,
  • notices God in ordinary life,
  • has a community where deeper conversations are normal,

and gradually discovers that following Jesus is becoming less like another task—and more like the way they live.

Rachel Lynn Lawrence

Founder of Disciple Co. Ministries, itinerant minister, and speaker

Rachel is a wife, a mother of five, an itinerant minister, and a Bible teacher with a heart to help believers encounter the living presence of Jesus. After years of serving in an executive pastoral role in her family’s local church, she launched Disciple Co. Ministries to help followers of Jesus know Him intimately, walk in the power of the Holy Spirit, and build lives anchored in prayer, fasting, and the secret place.

She has spent the past several years teaching the Word and leading inner healing, deliverance, and altar ministry teams across Wisconsin, walking with hundreds of people into the freedom, restoration, and intimacy that come from abiding in Christ. Her ministry carries a blend of charismatic renewal and contemplative devotion, calling the church both to encounter the Spirit’s power and to dwell deeply in the love of Jesus.
