Dear Disciple Club Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: your email address, the name and profile photo you choose, and your club profile.
• Membership: your plan and payment status. Payments are processed by Stripe (on our website) or by Apple / Google (in our apps). We never see or store your full card number.
• Your private reflections: journal entries, voice notes, saved verses, bookmarks, and completed days. These are private to you; other members can’t see them.
• Community: posts, comments, reports, and the members you choose to hide.
• Speaking to transcribe: if you use “Speak to transcribe,” your device’s built-in speech service (from Apple or Google) turns your speech into text. Voice notes you record are stored privately in your account.
• Basic technical information needed to run and secure the club, such as sign-in attempts used to block abuse.

How we use it

To run the club and your account, process your membership, show your private tools to you alone, run the community, keep the club safe, and send you club emails, such as sign-in codes and welcome emails to members.

Who helps us run the club

These service providers process data on our behalf, and they’re only allowed to use your information to provide their service to us:

• Cloudflare: hosting, the database, and file storage
• Supabase: email sign-in
• Stripe: website payments
• Flodesk: member emails
• Apple and Google: app purchases, notifications, and speech-to-text

Your choices

• You can edit your profile, delete your voice notes, comments, and profile photo, and cancel your membership anytime.
• To delete your whole account and its data, sign in and use “Delete my account” on My membership. It cancels any membership and permanently deletes your journal, voice notes, profile, community posts, and sign-in. You can also email rachel@discipleco.org from the email you sign in with. Our payment processor keeps basic payment records as the law requires.
• You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.

Adults only

The club is for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we’ll delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we’ll let members know.
